Bed Levelling Shims / Washers
thingiverse
To achieve the perfect print height, start by placing shims under the corners of your printer's bed and adjusting their heights until it's leveled in Y. Then, fine-tune the X axis using Z adjustment. For optimal results, use a 0.1 layer height and 0.1 first layer setting. If you face difficulties with the initial layer due to an uneven bed, adjust Z heights manually in the X direction. For more forgiving prints, try printing at 0.4mm layers with a 0.4mm start height. This will result in a 1.2mm washer for each corner, compensating for any variance from levelness. I discovered that only my back right corner needed a 0.2mm shim after following this method.
