Bed Leveling Knob "Tire" for Anycubic i3 Mega (S) - Remix

<p>Far to often I started leveling with turning the adjustment knobs in the wrong direction. In addition the original knobs are also hidden pretty well under the hotbed.</p><p>From all the knobs I found already designed by fellow Mega owners I liked the version of <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3145976">MKingCharles</a> the best and printed one sample. After using it for a while it felt a bit to large for my taste and why clip something over the original knob and not make a complete knob instead?</p><p>Imported the original design into tinkercad, shrank it to 35mm diameter, filled the center, added a raised center, made a 3.5mm hole and a hex hole for a nut.</p><p>Printed in PLA with 0.15mm adaptive layers, 50% cubic infill and support a first test sample and glued in a nut. Instead of a nut I then went for a cut in half piece of M3 12mm spacer to have a bit more thread. Main reason for this was that it is also easier to glue in with superglue...</p><p>As these spacers come with the same key size as M3, 5.5mm, but also with 6mm both STL files are attached and you have to pick the right one.</p>
