Bed leveling knob for JGAURORA A3

thingiverse

This is a knob designed to adjust the height of your bed. Because it measures only 28 mm in diameter, rotating this knob is much easier than using the standard thumbscrew. The center nut is M3 and has a length of 10 mm. The attachment to the knob is strongly secured without needing glue. Two types of STL files are available for download: one includes numbers, while the other does not. The knob was printed with PLA filament at a layer height of 0.2 mm and an internal infill density of 20%. Note that this knob was designed specifically for the JGAURORA A3 printer model. In standard printers, however, the gap between the front frame's lower left corner is narrow enough to cause collisions with the rear knob. Fortunately, my own printer has a Y-axis drive system elevated by 2.5 mm, resulting in a wider gap and no collision issues with the rear knob. The other three knobs on this printer function without issue. Important: This design was created specifically for the JG AURORA A3 printer model. I have not tested it on an Anet A8 printer, so proceed with caution if you plan to use it with that machine. Update (July 23, 2019): The original numbers on this knob were rearranged, causing it to operate in reverse. When the number increases by one, the gap widens by 0.05 mm.
