Bed leveling calibration model (Flashforge Dreamer)
thingiverse
Bed-leveling calibration model for the Flashforge Dreamer, or any other printer with a similarly sized print bed (230 x 150 mm). The intended purpose of the model is to aid in bed leveling by printing a square spiral pattern around the print bed at a width of 1 extrusion (0.4mm) and adjusting the leveling mid-print. The model is 2mm tall, but i usually only let it print the first few layers (some printers/slicers have issues slicing and printing models that are only 1 layer thick). ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Printer settings: - print-speed should be set to slow for all materials (10 - 20mm/s) - layer-height to somewhat thick (0.15 - 0.30 mm) - extrusion-width to match nozzle (0.4mm) - experiment with other settings as required Tighten/loosen each leveling nut after the printer has passed over it until proper leveling and adhesion is achieved. The prints corners should be square and sharply defined, not rounded or curved. Stop the print after the first 2 layers, and repeat print as necessary. Total print time should only be around ~2 minutes. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [v1.0 Originally designed: 09-APR-2019]
