Bed Leveling Assistant for Anycubic 4Max
thingiverse
To make bed leveling a breeze, I discovered a G-code and tailored it for 4Max, the original creator being Omar McAdam who designed it for CR10. Here's a rough video I made to show how I placed paper under the nozzle - don't mind my fumbling: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kwHit0_RotU Omar McAdam explains his CR10 setup in this YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K80j13I1RxI&t Download and use the G-code file; note that Dummy.stl is there solely because Thingiverse won't accept G-code files alone. What it does is load the G-code file into the printer like a print, heating the bed to 50C and nozzle to 180C. Once heated, the display shows "Ready to Level" with a beep. After this, press the navigation button to move to the first corner ready to level; after leveling that corner, press the navigation button again to proceed to the next corner. This continues for all corners three times, then it goes to the center where you can check the bed level. If you don't want three passes, stop the print as you would on a normal print. A plus side of this code is that you won't need to push the X and Y axes around to level - moving by hand isn't good, and the stepper motors create electricity when turned, potentially damaging drivers or boards if done too quickly. I made some tweaks: beeps are now shorter, end tune plays correctly on 4Max, and at the end, I added code to turn off bed and nozzle heaters. This is exclusive to Anycubic 4Max; other printers aren't supported. Disclaimer: Neither I nor the creator of this code can be held responsible if you damage your printer with this code - any issues are entirely on you.
