It prevents these nuts from spinning due to vibrations, guaranteeing accurate positioning every time. If the hex hole becomes overly snug for its respective nut, carefully heat it with a soldering iron to achieve proper fitment (using precision). Melted ABS should bond perfectly within its place; let the piece cool before handling again. Be cautious with PLA as a standard soldering iron may exceed safe melting temperatures.
