Bed Level Tuning Kit (Prusa & Clones)

This kit levels the bed of Prusa MK2/MK3 and similar printers when automatic calibration fails to handle severe warp. The included tweezers prove incredibly useful, making it impossible to squeeze washers and spacers under the MK3 bed's magnetic surface without them. To use this kit, add a few M3 spring washers beneath the bed spacers (more may be needed, but each washer is 0.5-0.8mm thick). Measure and adjust until mechanical warp decreases. In my case, I achieved a 10x reduction in warp (from 600 microns to about 50) before reaching the limit between screws and S-shaped deformation. The dial mount's repeatability appears to be around 20 microns when moving along the X axis and 3 microns when moving Y axis. However, copper traces and white paint thickness also influence readings. A printed part clips onto 8mm rods, 45mm apart, typical for Prusa MK2, MK3, etc., using an M6 20mm screw (or a 1/4"-20 3/4" alternative).
