Use a cheap dial indicator from Harbor Freight to test your bed level and make adjustments. I went through several designs before finding one that fits the 10mm rods tightly, which is crucial for accuracy. This design ensures the gauge doesn't move. To use both the dial indicator and it as shown, tighten it down very securely, preferably with a 100% infill setting. Printing in ABS may cause issues due to its stiffness, so you might need to adjust the fit accordingly. If you're printing in PLA, let me know how it fits. Position the indicator over the rods on either side near the edge of the bed but avoid pressing it down. Instead, squeeze it onto the rod between your fingers, as excessive force can damage the setup. Once in place, turn on the indicator and move the bed so the probe is near one corner (20mm or so). Push the zero button and then move the bed to the other corner to measure the offset and adjust accordingly. Achieving 0.05mm accuracy is a good goal; I managed to get mine down to 0.02mm. To remove the unit, twist the printed frame as shown in the photo. The unit will pop off. Repeat this process on the opposite side. You may need to move back and forth several times to ensure all units are at the same level, but the results are well worth the effort.
