Bed Level for MostlyPrintedCNC
pinshape
Whilst designing my own CNC from scratch after becoming fascinated by the mostly printed CNC, I decided one thing I had to have was a method to fine-tune the bed working area other than the legs. As can be seen from the photo, I've used 40mm M8 with plenty of adjustment available on the board, which is made of 18mm MDF. So here's my simple solution: the bed can be adjusted at four corners and if necessary, in the middle too, by using top and bottom M8 nuts and bolts. It's a straightforward yet effective approach I'll be incorporating into the feet of my MP_CNC in the future when time allows, and I'll upload that version once it's complete. Print Settings: Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.25mm Infill: 60% Post-Printing Instructions: Remove both screws and level by adjusting the bottom screw before locking it into place with the top screw. As many or as few adjusters as required can be used on larger beds, one or more along each side to compensate for warping.
