Bed Holder (not heated) for Rostock Delta Mini Pro
thingiverse
My Orca can't print this thing to scale so I used a Rostock Delta Mini Pro instead with an acrylic baseplate which comes pre-installed.\nTo be honest, no fixture is provided for securing the bed within the machine itself.\nSo I built my own holder.\nThe measurements were just too big for it.\nUpdate 2014-01-06: I made a new one which fits much better with Rostock motor mounts.\nThomas\nwww.3Daybreaker.blogspot.com\n\n \n \n The guide below tells you exactly how to assemble the device correctly.\nThe layer thickness is 0.2mm and it should have a fill level of about 40%.\nI had six magnets on order which are both 12mm in diameter, with 5mm as the thickness of each one.\nFirst you need to heat the print just enough so that it can be flexed safely then clamp it into place.\nThe way I like it best is when I get my printer ready for use I attach it firmly using an induction cooker which isn't extremely hot.\nAlternatively, if needed, you could use a heat gun but don't go crazy because we only want just enough.\nAfter getting it all together you need to insert the magnets securely into their respective places after they have cooled completely down, afterwards place this object in order over your original Rostock and lastly fasten those 2 items securely.\nPlease let me know at: Thomas www.3Daybreaker.blogspot.com
