I've definitely suffered a nasty burn while trying to remove a part from my 3D printer! That's how I stumbled upon this project, which initially started out as a front roller mount for my conveyor belt bed. However, I soon discovered that the front roller was incredibly useful on its own - it makes holding the moving bed steady a breeze, reducing wear on the surface and allowing me to remove parts much quicker. To create this handle, you'll need just one transfer roller from an HP Laserjet 8150 printer, which can be found for around $5.00 on eBay or similar websites. A few 8mm long M3 cap head bolts are also required. Print both pieces, attach them together with the bolts, and you're good to go! The soft foam roller core makes an excellent handle core, as it's mostly air and adds minimal weight. Please note that this design won't fit the Taz 6 bed.
