Bed Foot
thingiverse
I got fed up with the stick-on felt feet constantly falling off the bottom of bed posts over time. That's why I've come up with a third version of a bed foot that keeps the felt pad securely in place at the bottom of each bed post. The previous design worked just fine, but its sides were too tall and would brush against the floor as the felt pad compressed with use. This new model should solve that problem for good. Update: With our bedroom painting project underway, I've been sliding the bed from one corner to another, and it's great to see how well the felt pads are protecting the wood floor while the printed feet keep them firmly in place. Time will tell if this setup holds up under weight and heavy use. Print Settings: Printer: MonoPrice Maker Select Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: It doesn't matter, as I've designed it with only three walls, eliminating the need for infill. Post-Printing: How I Designed This I created this design using Tinkercad: https://tinkercad.com/things/iwwFa72On5X
