Bed Center Test
thingiverse
This is a test print to determine how close your printer's nozzle is to the center of the print bed, allowing you to adjust the offset in the slicer software accordingly. I recently upgraded my Chiron to a direct drive system, which pushed the hotend further out in the X-axis direction. To find the correct offset, I performed this test print and used calipers to measure the distance between the nozzle and the center of the bed. With these measurements, I was able to input an offset of -24mm in the X-axis and 5.5mm in the Y-axis to achieve precise centering.
