I built this gift for my kid's special day. The foundation is a 1/4 inch thick piece of particle board that I used as an insert. Putting it together was a bit of a challenge due to the snug fit. My Design Process I designed this project in SolidWorks, a software tool that I'm familiar with and enjoy using.
