The toddler's new bed was a crib converted to a full-sized bed, complete with a sturdy frame and safety railings. It had been designed specifically for little ones who were ready to move out of their cribs but still needed the reassurance of a secure sleeping space. The toddler's parents had chosen this particular model because it was easy to assemble and featured a soft, comfortable mattress that provided excellent support for growing backs.
