Beauty and the Beast wooden statue was created by Jiří Nekola in 2016 at Frymburk, Czech Republic. The artwork is part of the "We Cut Wood for Children" exhibition, showcasing Jiří's unique wood sculpture style. As a resident of Štipoklasy and Březnice near Příbram, Jiří focuses on figurative creations, often incorporating animal and fairytale themes into his work. His annual exhibitions, such as the Art Space Gallery in Prague 1 and the Šeberák Restaurant in Kunratice, feature a range of his pieces.
