Beautiful Nylon Belt
thingiverse
Design your own fashion accessories by using a 1000mm long 3D-printed spiral belt made of nylon. The belt can be printed on small tables, giving you two belts in total. To remove the spiral, iron it like any other nylon accessory. For instructions, visit http://www.instructables.com/id/3D-Printing-Purses-Belts-and-other-Pliable-Fashio/. You will require 3mm nylon line available at taulman3d.com. Export the STL file for your slicer program and adjust settings such as perimeters, surface, fill, height, temperature, and print time. After printing, remove the spiral, cut off the solid layer, trim ends, and iron it flat before adding eyelets or dyeing. Attach a buckle by poking a hole for the first eyelet, installing a silver eyelet, running the band into the buckle, folding the nylon back, and poking two holes for retaining eyelets. Continue to add more retaining eyelets as needed and dye the belt if desired before wearing.
