Beats Studio3 Headphone Rest
prusaprinters

The concept for this headphone rest is simple, the implementation is a bit more advanced. This was designed to match the curvature of Beats Studio3 headphones for better weight distribution and aesthetic and to be mounted to the wall with two sided tape. This requires VERY heavy duty mounting tape, there is a lot of leverage on the rest and anything but top end tape is likely to come off the wall.

The model is just a rainbow arc, but I used the infill to make it look nice. Mine was printed with the following settings on PrusaSlic3r on a Prusa Mini:

Material: PETG

Perimeters: none

Bottom Layers: 5

Top Layers: 0

Layer Height: 0.2

Infill Density: 20%

Infill Pattern: Hilbert Curve

Infill Speed: 50mm/s

Infill Width: 0.65mm

I did a dual color print with the flat base matching the wall color and the infill providing some contrast. The wall facing side of the print is covered as much as possible with two sided tape to make sure it stays on the wall.
