Here's My Project to Build a Hacker Version of the Beastgrip. I Made a Major Change by Adding Holes to the Handle, Allowing Me to Attach Extra Items Both Inside and Outside. Additionally, I Drilled Holes into the Back of the Clamp So You Can Mount a Backup Power Bank, Keeping Your Phone Connected for Longer Use. Like the Beastgrip, You Can Screw in 37mm Lenses to Capture Shots with Your Smartphone. I Successfully Used a Lens Filter and Added a Custom 3D Printed Clamp to Replicate this Feature. For Those Who Want to Build This Project, I Recommend Buying the Cheapest Lens Filter Possible - Metal Thread Quality Matters Most, Not Optical Clarity. The Beastgrip Clone Is Complete, but I Have Many Ideas for the Second Version, Including a New Design Concept and Thumb Screws to Simplify Assembly. I Modified an Open Source Camera App to Control the Rig Using Earbud Buttons, but Due to Some Glitches, I'm Planning to Create My Own Android App Specifically Designed for This Project. Since I've Developed a Simple Camera App in the Past, I Feel Confident About Building a Fun and Feature-Rich Open Source App for this Beastgrip Hack. As Soon as I Finish My Other Project - A Gimbal Camera Stabilizer - I'll Begin Work on MK2, Another Project Geared Towards Capturing Life's Moments Through Photography.
