Beast Wars Transformer Inferno Ant Leg/Missle

This is a toy component from Hasbro's iconic Beast Wars line of 1996. The Predacon transformer known as Inferno features this part, which serves both as a hind ant leg and a missile. One of the two leg/missile pieces was missing from my childhood Hasbro Inferno toy, prompting me to create a replacement using 3D modeling and printing techniques. Original design credit goes to the renowned toy manufacturer Hasbro. How I Designed This Replacement I crafted this model utilizing SolidWorks 2015 software. To ensure accuracy, I took high-resolution orthographic pictures of the original part, maximizing zoom to minimize perspective distortion. These images were then imported as references using the "Sketch Picture" function in SolidWorks. Additionally, a precision caliper was used for precise measurements. This replacement part is modeled after a physical object, with its design crediting the ingenious minds at Hasbro. SolidWorks Model Details The original bottom section of this model remains unchanged, while the top section is printed from my 3D design using Solutech Apple Green PLA material.
