Bearings for Z-Axis

Bearings for Z-Axis

thingiverse

The Z-axis of my DLP printer features an 8mm threaded rod. Initially, I used an Ikea cupboard front assembly with a plug glued as a makeshift bearing (pic 1). Although not ideal, it functioned. For enhanced precision, I had my printer print new bearings (pic 2), demonstrating the potential for DLP printers to be built from scrap materials and continually improved! Instructions: Simply print the part and insert it.
