Bearing support for use with Inner Y rail mount
thingiverse
The original design includes a belt with high tension on my Y-belt, which made me concerned about possible damage due to only one side of the NEMA motor shaft being supported. As a solution, I added a bearing on the opposite side to reinforce it. A single 605ZZ 5x14x5 ball bearing is needed for this modification; however, two bearings may be required if your motor shaft is exceptionally long. The Thingiverse alignment (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:221557) is crucial for this modification to work correctly. To install the bearing, print out the instructions and follow the steps, possibly trimming the motor mount or support slightly if your shaft is abnormally short.
