The received UP! printer lacked an electronic filament feeder; instead, it had a curved plastic "shelf" for the spool. This caused friction during fast printing, leading to feed skipping. By utilizing a bearing designed by chylld and modifying it slightly, I created my own bearing mount and filament tube guide, which has worked for me and could benefit others as well. To replicate this, print one Spool Holder and one Spool Holder top, positioning them appropriately. Next, print two Spool Holder bearings in the correct orientation and with suitable printing settings. Sand the shaft slightly and clean out the middle of the bearing for a snug fit. Assemble the components by placing a bearing on the shaft, followed by the spool, then securing everything with the second bearing. A few millimeters of lateral and vertical play should not cause issues.
