The Up! Mini system can utilize bearings designed by chylld/art103 with a printed Up! Mini Spool Holder and two "Spool Holder bearing" attachments by art103. Print these components at 0.25mm layer thickness, with high fill, and supports below 10 degrees. Install the bearings on the shaft, adding the spool between them, ensuring proper flange orientation. Initially print the holder vertically for a better shaft profile, but be aware of structural weakness; horizontal printing may require filing but results in a stronger shaft. Art103 discovered that highest fill mode enhances strength. Tested successfully, providing smooth spool rotation.
