This part was engineered to secure the cable (UHMWPE braided fishing line, in our case) on a pulley that drives a linear slide mechanism. The specific U-groove pulleys were sourced from Amazon. To fasten the pulley to your mechanism securely, we recommend using a pair of jam nuts to distribute more of the load while allowing the pulley bearing to rotate freely. The Solidworks (educational license) source file is included for making modifications.
