Great "proof of concept" 3D printed model - this impresses everyone unfamiliar with 3D printing! This needle roller bearing prints as one single piece. It features 12 rollers and is designed (on a Replicator 2) so the incorporated support can be effortlessly removed in a short amount of time to leave a smooth, easy-to-spin needle roller bearing. At the moment of uploading, I couldn't find anything comparable on Thingiverse. The key to its functionality lies within the clearances embedded within the design and the incorporated support. TIP: Spray the inside from each side with a small burst of silicone spray to make it spin exceptionally well. Easy print - something that fascinates people and showcases the possibilities of 3D printing.
