Bearing loaded Spool Holder for DIY Filament Dryers

EDIT 2019/09/01: I have discovered that nylon and polypropylene can be used as a material for the springs in this design. However, not everyone has access to printers that can print these materials. To address this issue, I have added a modular cap to the design. This cap replaces the existing cap and allows users to clamp down spools to the bottom plate of the spool holder. The cap can be used with or without the springs. An additional adapter further increases its clamping range, enabling it to work with very narrow spools. EDIT 2019/07/08: I encountered an issue with the springs in this design. It turns out that PETG is not a suitable material for them as they soften and remain stretched. If you know of a material that remains springy up to 70°C, please share your knowledge so I can update this design accordingly. This spool holder is designed for use in repurposed food dehydrators like the one available on Amazon. It's also sold under various names at many different places online. This design incorporates a thrust bearing of a specific type, but I've added two files for 3D printable bearings using 6mm BB pellets or other balls. The printed bearing design has been tested and works well. Assembly is straightforward and quick. Components simply slide in, click into place, or screw together. The finished spool holder spins freely, looks great, and allows for the use of a spool while printing in the filament dryer.
