Bearing Gyro Toy

I was discussing gyroscopic forces and angular momentum with my two boys who are seven and nine years old. I wanted to give them a cool demonstration, and also provide them with a toy that they can experiment with in order to help grasp the concept. So we sat down together and designed this project. They have been having fun with it all afternoon, and I must admit... so have I. Here is a video of it in action: I have included the STL's, as well as other CAD formats such as native Solidworks 2018, STEP, X_T, and Fusion360 import. Feel free to modify or remix this project. Have fun experimenting with it.
