Bearing extractor spacer
thingiverse
This is a spacer required for extracting the rear wheel bearings of Porsche 968 as well as , I believe, Porsche 911s of the 90s era. The rear wheel bearing is 80mm in diameter. In addition to this spacer, you will need a long, strong, fully threaded bolt (I used an M16 8.8 threaded rod and two M16 nuts) as well as a suitable object for engaging against the inner side of the bearing (I used a 3/4 inch 50 mm socket) and an object for engaging against the spacer surface on the outside (this could simply be a flat steel plate with a hole large enough for the rod/bolt. The four "knobs" of this tool locates the extractor against the four holes for M8 screws that secures the bearing. These screws needs to be undone first, of course. Print the spacer with ore then normal outer walls (e.g. 8) as well as a bit of infill to make it strong enough.
