I did a remake of tahustvedt's differential, Beacouse the gears were rubbing against the axle. I made them with bearings and it rides realy smooth now. My thing also include a 2017 rim from hackoholic You will need to print all the files except the rim, wheel nut and sattelites if you already have the original differential. You will also need additional bearings. I use two same bearings as in the wheel (8X12X3,5) for the outside sun (and a printed spacer between) and one needle bearing with a flange in same dimensions (8X12X3,5). But you can also use all three bearings the same. You don't need extra needle bearing wit flange. So, in total you,ll need 3 bearings for the differential and 2 bearings for the wheel. The instructions are quite the same as in the original file: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2361718, just add the bearings. You will also need something like 19- 20cm of M3 threaded rod and two self locking M3 nuts (also regular nuts with a drop of glue or Loctite will do the job) for the axle. The easiest way to put the rod inside the axxle is with the battery drill machine, just don't stop in the middle of screwing it in. It will stick in due to the heat produced with screwing... Longer thiin part of the axle goes to the drive side. I have best rusults with those materials for the parts (but it's all yours what will you use): - Axle - PET-G CF (realy strong results) - both suns and the big 40T or 46T - PLA glitter (better than regular PLA or PLA+) - Sattelites - Nylon or Glow in the dark PLA or PLA glitter (maybe PLA+ is also the option) - Nut for the wheel - PET-G CF (it doesn't realy matter, but it will last forever) Did I forget something?
