This spool arm was designed specifically for the Replicator 2, but can be modified to fit other printers as well. The key features include bearings for minimal friction and easy replacement capability - a result of over-engineering. Additionally, an enlarged section allows for simple reel removal while keeping it in place. The arm is designed to accommodate reels with internal diameter of approximately 52mm and width of around 7cm, using 12 x 28 x 8mm bearings.
