I'm not thrilled with the DIY coil stand that comes with Creality printers. To build my reel stand, I used Mika's drawing as inspiration, incorporating parts from the original Creality and Geeetech stands into my design. For added stability, I employed an 8 mm pin threaded at both ends - a threaded rod could also be an effective substitute. One side of the pin is secured with a nyloc nut, while the other end features a cap nut for extra grip. Two bearings from skateboard wheels (608 ZZ) provide smooth motion and durability to my custom reel stand.
