Bearing blocks for Wanhao Duplicator i3
thingiverse
I'm designing a custom bearing block replacement for the Wanhao Duplicator i3 printer, as standard designs had one major flaw - the hole for the long LM8LUU bearings was too small. This prevented me from using them in my prints. The STL files were also problematic to modify, and some required M4 bushings. I decided to create a new design from scratch that could accommodate both original bolts or M4 nuts without any need for O-rings or retainers. Print Settings: Printer: Wanhao Duplicator i3 Rafts: No rafts used Supports: No supports needed Resolution: 0.2mm resolution Infill: Infill density set to 30% Notes: The design is intended to be printed flat, and I was able to print it successfully without any support material.
