LM08UU Linear Bearing Block

This proposal presents a linear bearing block designed to work seamlessly with the tapered version of the LM08UU Linear Bearing.

The intention is for this bearing block to be used in conjunction with my Anet A6, but it should also fit perfectly on the A8 and many other Prusa I3-based printers.

The original Anet A6 model has significant limitations when it comes to precision and heat bed stability. I have consistently experienced difficulties with the blocking or jiggling of the plate. This led me to design the tapered bearings and this holder, which addresses these issues.

The bearing block includes a protective shield for easy activation of the end stop switch.

Key Improvements:

An asymmetrical fixation mechanism provides a certain degree of freedom for the tapered bearing.

A reduced weight design is achieved (at least for the old aluminum type I have).

Required Materials:

Metric screw M3x12 + nut for each bearing block

History

Version 0.1.0
The first published version, currently in use and available for public access.
