Bear Trap

Bear Trap

A toy Bear Trap I designed for a friend's son to catch all the pesky bad guys lurking around the house! There are 2 versions: V1 - smaller parts, requires cardboard for teeth/jaws and base support. Watch the above video for instructions on how to build that. - Both V1 parts - Pins - Trigger V2 - bigger! Full Jaws and base, can use double thick cardboard or print the tooth in TPU for maximum fun! - Both V2 parts - Pins - Trigger - Tooth x21 (Optional, TPU @ 20% infill. Less infill for softer teeth) Materials: - Plastic! Printers preference! I used PLA for all but the teeth. - Rubber bands - Superglue, for the pins. - Cardboard for V1 or V2 teeth. - TPU for optional teeth. All but the pins can be 20% infill. Pins must be 100%. I only used support for the pins just to keep them from breaking loose, but you may need a brim because of the caps. They will probably need some knife cleanup. V2 will need more rubber bands than V1 because it has more mass. This thing has a hair trigger! If it's not staying set, then just add more rubber bands. Set and enjoy!
