The life-size sculpture depicts a stylized bear carved from wood, a popular animal in the region that locals frequently see around the area. This sculpture is located near the Olympic Park in Lausanne. This dataset was acquired and processed by students of the Digital 3D Geometry Course taught by Prof. Mark Pauly at the School of Computer and Communication Sciences at EPFL in Switzerland. The bear sculpture is part of "Scan The World," a non-profit initiative launched by MyMiniFactory to create a digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks, and landmarks from around the globe for public access.
