The Man-Bear Figure Displays an Outstretched Tongue, Recovered from Hillsborough County in Florida. Dating back to the Late Woodland era, this significant artifact is classified under the Weeden Island culture period. Notable features include its inclusion of sand and a unique tempering technique that sets it apart from other similar discoveries. This remarkable relic is carefully preserved within the collection of the Florida Museum of Natural History. A 3D model created by Lindsay Bloch utilizing NextEngine's 3D Desktop laser scanner brings this ancient figure to life in vivid detail. It's worth noting, however, that while the exterior of the head was successfully captured, the interior contours were not fully rendered due to limitations with the scanning technology.
