Beanie Baby tag
thingiverse
This year, I'm rocking a kigurumi costume for Halloween, and I decided to complement it with a Beanie Baby tag so I'll share the details! The print is simple, one-sided, and flat. Print Settings Printer Brand: Printrbot Printer: Printrbot Plus Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: .4mm Infill: 75% Notes: I printed this example image in basic black ABS at 45mm/s with a 240 degree extruder and 65 degree bed. I might have been too hot on the extruder temperature, though. The model is clean, so all imperfections come from the actual printing process. None of these flaws can't be sanded down. I took the photos in the least flattering light to show off the flaws. Post-Printing The image is a work-in-progress - I applied grey primer then used basic acrylic paint. In retrospect, I should have done more prep and sanding before priming and being less heavy-handed with the paint. It's still absolutely fine for what I need it for. How I Designed This I modeled this in Maya by tracing and extruding.
