The windmill boasted an assortment of precision measuring tools, with its oldest component being a sturdy beam scale. A cradle within the mill supported the sack, identified as a Miller's Cage. Each weight and the scale proudly displayed a stamp marking that confirmed their accuracy had been thoroughly inspected by the Weights and Measures authorities and certified for commercial use.
