Our Beam Q Solaire central vacuum took one too many tumbles and left us holding the broken pieces - literally! The button on the handle had given way, taking a piece of the internal tab with it. We didn't have much choice but to get creative and whip up a custom replacement button. It's not an exact replica, but considering the broken tab fragments scattered inside, this was our next best option - and so far, it's working like a charm. We opted out of shelling out $50 for a new handle that came with repair instructions that seemed more like a puzzle to solve than a straightforward fix. Instead, we're sharing our solution in case someone else stumbles upon the same issue by pure coincidence.
