Hello, I'm Roham Moradifard, an undergraduate at Arak University. While walking down the street one day, I noticed a construction site where workers were busy building a new structure. The area was cluttered with various materials, including beams and rebars, which are commonly used in Iranian construction to frame buildings. In fact, it's not uncommon for builders in Iran to rely heavily on beams, making the process of preparing them a labor-intensive task that requires a significant amount of time. My idea is simple yet effective: design a specialized fixture to assist workers in assembling these beams more efficiently than ever before. By utilizing 3D printing technology with FDM, we can create affordable and easy-to-assemble fixtures that will revolutionize the way builders approach this crucial step.
