Bealach Heabhal Shieling 2

Close to Kildonan Glen, on Heabhal's eastern edge and Bealach Heabha pass's southern side, three shieling mounds gather with 10-12 bothain-airighe across their surfaces. Some of these bothans are primarily stone-built, while others appear mostly turf-walled. This is a small corbelled 'beehive' structure possibly used as a clamp for storing dairy produce until it was taken back to the main house. Currently, this group of shieling huts is not listed on Canmore.
