The style is unmistakably Jingdezhen ware, a type of ceramic vessel originating from Jingdezhen, Jiangxi province, China. Created during the Qing dynasty, this piece dates back to between 1662 and 1722. Gifted by Myron S. Falk, Jr. and his sisters, Mrs. Mildred F. Loew and Mrs. Eleanor F. Lenzner, it bears a significant place in the Smithsonian's collection. The accession number is F1980.194a-b, while its EDAN-URL is edanmdm:fsg_F1980.194a-b.
