This case lets you take your Beaglebone Black on the move with space for a breadboard and resistors, making it nice and easy to create projects on the go! The BeagleBone is a low-power open-source hardware single-board computer that's perfect for developing projects and prototyping. It has all the functionality of a basic computer. In this quick tutorial, we'll make a case for the BeagleBone Black that lets you create projects anywhere. Assembling the case is a very easy process, but it depends on your printer and whether the parts fit together smoothly. Check out the picture below to see different printed BeagleBoards that were all a little bit different from each other, even though they were printed on the same printer. The upper left case is the exception – it was printed on an SLS printer, which is much more accurate, sturdy, and looks way better. An improvement to this model would be to tweak the design or scale it up by 2% so the parts fit together easily. However, you can decide what works best for you. Remember that screws and hinges are not shown in this tutorial, but they're definitely needed to make a functional BeagleBone Black case. When printing through 3D Hubs, double-check your quantities – you'll need 3 buttons and 2 hinges!
