A custom-designed modular rack system holds three BeagleBone Blacks per tray, allowing easy access to each board's headers and cables. Each tray slides out for convenient maintenance and wire management. To keep things organized, wire management brackets are included. To connect the power supply inside the stand, use https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3105119. For neat networking cables, use https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1320948. A PCB distributes 5 volts across each tray. Each PCB requires five screw terminal blocks with a 3.5mm pin spacing. Order the PCB through Fritzing software; the file is available at https://aisler.net/p/NKVQDEAW. This is a 12-volt system powered by a solar array and four DC-DC step-down boards housed in the stand, along with a 16-relay board that allows the master node to power up or down slave nodes as needed.
