A steel bead chain gear design is suitable for window blinds and light fixtures with 4.5mm bead diameter and 1.5mm link length. The gear has an inner diameter of 5.5mm, an outer radius of 20.1mm, and 21 teeth. Each tooth, designed as a half-sphere (hull), fits at least half of the bead. Use the zaxis hull design for better performance with minor deformities. Print using concentric circles fill pattern, or adjust printer settings accordingly. The openscad code attached provides the latest version for generating the stl file. Alternatively, use the provided script to determine dimensions for a different gear make.
