This belt gear is designed for a 4.5mm chain and attaches to a 5mm NEMA17 motor shaft using an ordinary hose clamp. A flat on the motor's shaft is utilized, but can be altered in the source files to fit various shapes. To install, clean and print the gear, then file the required flat on the shaft if necessary. Place the hose clamp loosely over the collet, followed by the thickest quadrant of the collet onto the shaft's flat. Secure the gear in place by tightening the hose clamp. If using PLA, the clamp may crush the collar or obstruct surroundings; in such cases, epoxy the clamp to the drive shaft for secure attachment.
