Bead bearing marble labyrinth ramp (mountain)
thingiverse
This is a miniature marble maze designed specifically for use with ball bearings. The model shown in the image is an earlier version that had too shallow of a gradient, causing the bearing to fail to reach the bottom. My printer is experiencing difficulty printing the complexity of the enclosed design, which should work perfectly. To print this maze ramp successfully, it must be printed with a vertical resolution of exactly 0.3 mm, as anything less will cause the bearing to get stuck or fall off at certain points. Here's a flattened version of the labyrinth (based on Chartres Cathedral in France): https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2551158 If you find this helpful, I would be extremely grateful if you shared your work with me - it would bring me great joy to see how it turns out! Or, better yet, please feel free to send a bitcoin or two my way (I'm collecting as many as possible before the apocalypse): 1Py3TUeR8noBN2giHyFV1GfB6x3Kh2WEVv ... include a note saying "Hi 3E8, thanks for the holy maze thing - my life is infinitely better because of it and please accept this small handful of bitcoins in gratitude". You're welcome! (in advance) Also, feel free to browse through my other submissions which are almost as varied as they are numerous: http://www.thingiverse.com/3E8/designs Enjoy!
