I'm gazing out the window as I type this; it's freezing and pouring rain so not exactly summer holiday weather unless you're vacationing here. To revive a bit of that holiday vibe, I came up with the Mk 1 Beach Tray. It's frustrating digging glasses or bottles into the sand to keep them upright only to have to brush off the sand or watch them tip over if you're not careful. This tray is securely embedded in the sand thanks to its three mounting spikes, which can be removed for transport, and has a 10mm rim around it to prevent sand from spilling onto the tray. Now you can dig this in and place your drinks, bottles, or other items on it. Larger objects like thick novels with at least one Greek letter in the title (a thousand pages long and packed with technical specifications) can sit atop it. The smaller section is for your beverages. No more spills! If anyone has specific needs for their holidays let me know, or if you have feedback it's always welcome.
