Beach Ball Bat cnc/laser
thingiverse
Making your own custom beach ball bat is an incredibly easy task if you have access to a CNC machine. Even with a band saw or a scroll saw, it's not very complicated at all. The design may look simple, but it does require some creativity and attention to detail. I modified my bat from the standard circular shape to a more sleek oval form, giving it a streamlined appearance that catches everyone's eye. When it comes to personal taste, there are two handle variations: one is completely symmetrical, while the other features recesses for the digits on the grip. The dowels in the grip make alignment easier, but I added them mainly for aesthetic reasons. The build process is incredibly simple: just place 6 mm birch plywood on the machine and cut it with a suitable end mill (I used a 1.5 mm spiral-toothed cutter). Then, glue on the two handle shells. After the glue dries, use a handheld router to round out the grip. Keep in mind that the STL file is for viewing purposes only. For more exciting designs, visit https://www.zenziwerken.de/en/.
